What's cooking in Rani's life?

There was a time when Rani was termed as the 'Queen of Bollywood', literally 'snatching' away the crown from Aishwarya Rai. Though few might vouch that she is still the reigning queen, industry wallahs have a different story to tell. Amidst rumours of Rani's arrogance and highflying behaviour off late, another buzz doing the rounds is the lady's growing closeness with Aditya Chopra.

Rani, it seems is not being approached by top-notch filmmakers in Bollywood anymore. She seems to have become an exclusive Yashraj heroine.

The fact that Aditya has split with his wife Payal Malhotra gives room for thought. The duo have agreed on a settlement of more than Rs. 20 crore, besides a five bed room pent house close to the Prithvi theatre complex in Mumbai!

Anyway, coming to Rani, she is apparently very close to Aditya. Her friends agree too, however they state that the two are very 'friendly' and nothing more than that. Hmmm...should we believe that?

Rani, who has for a long time been in the good books of the media, has in more than one occasion been downright rude to the media. It is being speculated that it is Aditya who has suggested her to keep a distance with the media.

Well, only time will tell us if all this is true or there is more to what meets the eye!
