There are few debutant film makers who make an instant impression with their very first outing. Sriram Raghavan is one of them. After making a twisted thriller like Saif&Urmila starrer Ek Haseena Thi, he is now back with noir thriller Johnny Gaddaar that stars Dharmendra along with debutant Neil Mukesh, Rimmi Sen and Vinay Pathak.

This film did take some time to reach the finishing line but now is being noticed for its slick promos.

On being asked if it has been quite a wait for the director to get his second film before the audience after an acclaimed Ek Haseena Thi (2004), Sriram says, "Yes, I do feel a bit stupid; I won't deny that. However, there were circumstances beyond my control. The gap was not intended and I intend to make up for it."

Still, when a director's second film comes after years, doesn't it become a tiring exercise to re-establish/re-market yourself?

Not showing a hint of remorse Sriram responds, "You can either worry about these things or move on to work on interesting projects. Anyways, thankfully I have been too busy with the post production of Johnny Gaddaar to worry about these things. The film has shaped up well and now it is time for me to look forward to what audience has to say about the film."

Presented by ADLABS, this much awaited film is looking at a 28th September release.
