Actress
Chitrangada
Singh,
who
walked
away
with
a
lot
of
critical
acclaim
in
Sudhir
Mishra's
Hazaaron
Khwaishen
Aisi,
later
went
into
self
exile,
for
personal
reasons.
As
is
known,
she
is
now
making
a
comeback
via
director
Onir's
Sorry
Bhai.
Just
last
week,
there
was
news
that
Chitrangada
had
been
offered
a
role
in
Aamir
Khan's
project,
Delhi
Belly
(opposite
Ranbir
Kapoor),
and
that
she
was
awaiting
the
script
of
the
Abhinav
Deo
directed
venture.
Apparently,
it
was
Abhinav
who
had
suggested
Chitrangada's
name
to
producer
Aamir,
as
she
had
worked
in
an
ad
film
with
Deo.
The
latest
buzz
doing
the
rounds
is
that
Chitrangada
has
turned
down
Aamir
Khan's
offer
due
to
'professional'
reasons.
She
went
on
to
add
that
the
three
hero
project
Delhi
Belly
had
nothing
much
to
offer
to
her,
as
she
was
only
interested
in
'performance
oriented
roles'.
She
also
objected
to
a
few
scenes.
Here's
hoping
that
next
time
around
actor-producer
and
now
director
perfectionist
Aamir
Khan
approaches
Chitrangada
Singh
with
a
'performance
oriented
role'.
