Newbie
Prachi
Desai
was
given
a
raw
deal
by
Abbas-Mustan,
all
because
of
Govinda
with
whom
she's
sharing
screen
space
with
in
their
production,
Life
Partner.
Says
a
source
from
the
sets,
"On
Monday
night,
Prachi
was
to
appear
on
Star
Plus's
Voice
of
India,
along
with
Farhan
Akhtar
to
promote
her
first
film
Rock
On!!.
Abbas-Mustaan
had
promised
they'd
let
her
leave
in
time
for
the
show.
But
courtesy
Govinda's
constantly
late
status,
she
had
to
cancel
her
appearance
at
the
last
minute.
A
bitterly
disappointed
Prachi
was
seen
sobbing
her
heart
out
on
the
sets."
That
wasn't
all.
The
source
adds.
"Prachi
got
fired
from
both
sides.
By
Abbas
and
Mustan
for
making
a
fuss
about
not
being
allowed
to
go,
when
they
had
her
date.
And
by
Riteish
Sidhwani,
for
cancelling
at
the
last
minute.
Being
a
newcomer,
the
actress,
had
to
swallow
all
the
insults
quietly.
But
when
the
Rock
On!!
filmmaker
taunted
her
mom,
she
burst
into
tears." Prachi
is
a
popular
TV
actress,
so
Farhan
was
very
keen
that
she
attend.
A
source
close
to
Prachi
says
she
was
extremely
upset
that
she
couldn't
go.
"Because
of
Govinda,
the
last
four
days
of
the
schedule
had
been
getting
delayed.
The
shooting
began
a
day
late,
thanks
to
him.
Rock
On!!
is
Prachi's
first
film
and
she'd
been
looking
forward
to
promoting
it.
She
was
all
ready
to
leave
for
the
Voice
Of
India
show,
when
she
was
informed
that
she'd
have
to
stay
back."
Earlier,
she
had
to
cancel
her
appearance
on
Sa
Re
Ga
Ma
Pa
as
well.
Prachi,
admits,
"Yes.
I
was
pretty
upset.
I
was
upset
not
only
personally
as
Rock
On!!
is
a
very
important
film
for
me;
but
also
because
both
shows
are
watched
by
the
whole
nation.
Being
a
newcomer,
I
don't
know
what
to
do
in
such
situations.
I
can't
take
a
stand
for
myself."
Govinda,
who'd
left
for
the
sets
at
4
pm
said,
"I
have
been
down
with
flu
for
the
last
week
but
still
I
still
came
for
shooting.
One
day
did
get
cancelled
as
I
was
very
ill
but
mein
bimaar
hoon
toh
hoon
kya
karein?
If
someone
is
complaining
about
a
sick
person,
I
can't
help
it.
There
are
people
who
are
trying
to
control
and
harm
me
through
the
media."
