Katrina off to London without Salman

But boyfriend Salman Khan won't be going
Katrina Kaif's had a string of hits this year, Namastey London, Apne, Partner and Welcome. But on the personal front there have been rumours about her split with Salman Khan. Kat dispelled those tales by rushing off to bring in his birthday (December 27) at his Panvel farmhouse.

Katrina says that she's currently at the farmhouse and adds, "I don't know when I will be returning to Mumbai. My sister Isabelle, my mom and I are planning to visit my sister Christina in London after New Year, as she's just had a baby. So it will be a lovely family reunion."

Sharing honour

Katrina loved sharing the Star Gold's Sabsey Favourite Kaun Actress Award with Rani Mukerji, "For me, it was the best award ever as it's the public's choice. It's an added honour and a compliment to share it with a great actress like Rani."

Kat is known for going mum whenever Sallu's name comes up. She tells us why, "It's not a decision I made consciously. I believe everyone has their comfort zone. I like to keep my dignity intact. I am a Cancerian and I like to retreat to my shell."

Strangely though, it is Kareena Kapoor and not Katrina who has been approached for Salman and Sohail Khan's home production, Main Aur Mrs Khanna. But Kat doesn't mind, "I act in other productions too. I have a great line-up — Vipul Shah's Singh Is Kinng, Yash Raj Film's next, Abbas-Mastan's Race and Subhash Ghai's Yuvraj. And I think Kareena is perfect for the script. I am very happy with the choice."
