Salman recommends another girl Mahek

Give your rating:
Salman Khan has recommended good friend Mahek Chahal yet again. The actress now finds herself in Shyam Bajaj's Jai Veeru, directed by Puneet Sira thanks to her bonding with Sallu. In the film, Mahek dances to the item song, Aagre ke ghaghre.

As reported 'Salman's new object of affection', the actor has been taking a keen interest in shaping Mahek's career.

Says a source,"Salman has always recommended his girlfriends or the women in his life to filmmakers. After giving Mahek an item song in Boney Kapoor's Wanted Dead Or Alive, Sallu created a role for her in brother Sohail's home production, Main Aur Mrs Khanna."

Big breaks

Adds the source, "It was initially a guest appearance but now it has turned out to be a full-fledged role in Main Aur Mrs Khanna. She is thrilled to have got three big breaks because of Salman. But Sallu's girlfriend Katrina Kaif is not too pleased at the developments. But there's nothing she can do as she always states that Akshay Kumar helped her get films."

Did Salman recommend Mahek for his film?

Shyam Bajaj denies it but Mahek is more forthcoming. 'We are good friends and I feel totally relaxed and at ease while working with friends. I share a great comfort level with all my co-stars. Be it producers, directors or actors, I have had an amazing time working with every one of them."

Talking about her relationship with Salman she says, "We have a professional relation. He's extremely observant and supportive and doesn't behave like a star. Salman is totally chilled out and after being in the industry for over 25 years, he's the right person to seek professional tips from."
