Upen Patel splits with his Brazilian girlfriend

Another relationship goes kaput in Upen Patel's life, but this time he's not unhappy. He has split with Brazilian girlfriend Camilla Tavares. A source says, "Though it was a sizzling affair, Upen and Camilla hardly spent time together. Soon after, Camilla became busy with her modelling in Italy and Upen in Mumbai or Ooty where he has been shooting for Raj Kumar Santoshi's Ajab Prem Ki Gajab Kahani.

It's difficult for long distance relationships to work. Also after the Grand Marshall's Parade that Upen went for to Los Angeles he came back to India via London to visit his family but didn't meet Camilla in Italy. She wanted an emotional commitment and more time from Upen, which he didn't want to give. His career is all important today."

Upen had told us when asked about Camilla Tavares, "Yes I am dating somebody at the moment. Right now, it's too early to talk about it. I want to see how far it goes. I will never hide the person I love but only time can create relationships."

Today when we ask Upen, he says, "Yes I am single today and am not dating anybody at present. I want to focus on my work. One has to be committed in a relationship and give lots of time to it, which I am unable to. I am just beginning my career and all my energies are focused on that. I am not interested in relationships today. I have had my share of them. There is still so much to happen. I don't have time for relationships."
