Aditya Chopra skips screening due to ex-wife

While Yash Raj Films is keeping no stone unturned to promote its upcoming movie New York there seems to be fresh tension within the family. Aditya Chopra raised a few eyebrows by almost skipping the special screening of the movie at the Yash Raj Studios and making an 11th hour entry. The obvious reason was the presence of ex-wife Payal Chopra in the screening.

The screening was attended by Yash Chopra, his wife Pamela, ex daughter-in-law Payal and director Kabir Khan. It has also been learnt that Aditya Chopra had a private screening of the movie for himself and his lady love Rani Mukherjee. It may be recalled that Aditya Chopra's marriage had hit the rocks over his alleged relationship with Rani Mukherjee.

New York which stars John Abraham, Katrina Kaif and Neil Nitin Mukesh will hit the screens on June 26. The movie is the story about three friends who stay in New York City and how their life is changed by an incident beyond their control. A lot is riding on New York for as it is the first release from YRF for the year.
