They
may
have
missed
out
an
opportunity
to
showcase
their
film
Kambakkht
Ishq
at
the
prestigious
Cannes
Film
Festival
due
to
the
ongoing
stand
off
between
the
producers
and
the
multiplex
owners
but
that
hasn't
dampened
producer
Sajid
Nadiadwala
and
Eros
International's
spirits.
They
are
now
amidst
talks
about
getting
a
bigger
platform
for
showcasing
their
film.
There
is
a
strong
buzz
that
they
are
presently
in
talks
with
the
Indian
Premiere
League
management
to
allow
their
stars
Akshay
Kumar
and
Kareena
Kapoor
to
participate
in
the
finals
of
the
tournament
on
May
24.
Sources
further
reveal,
“If
the
talks
are
successful
then
Akshay
Kumar
and
Kareena
Kapoor
are
both
likely
to
perform
at
final
venue
in
South
Africa
and
the
promos
of
the
film
shall
be
shown
at
the
event."
IPL
is
not
new
for
Akshay
as
one
can
recollect
he
was
the
brand
ambassador
for
the
Delhi
Daredevils
team
during
the
IPL
season
one.
His
rope
way
entry
to
the
match
venue
at
the
Ferozshah
Kotla
ground
was
much
written
about
too
last
year.
Aamir
Khan
along
with
nephew
Imran
Khan
had
gone
to
watch
the
IPL
finals
at
Navi
Mumbai's
DY
Patil
Stadium
Last
year.
They
had
not
performed
but
had
gone
to
just
enjoy
the
game.
There
is
also
buzz
that
Kareena
shall
be
performing
a
special
dance
number
from
Kambakkht
Ishq
at
this
year's
IIFA
Awards
to
be
held
at
Macau
on
June
13th
evening.
