Believe it or not, it was Rakesh Roshan, Hrithik's father, who crafted the hot plots. Rakesh clarified that no steamy scenes were added to woo international audience though it has two versions. He added that Hrithik couldn't help but kiss Barbara because, as lovebirds, they couldn't sing songs like in Hindi films. He also said that Hrithik, as an actor, had to do what the filmmakers asked him to.
Hrithik had earlier revealed that it was Barbara who asked him to kiss on her lips. Well, close chemistry between the lead actors is said to be something to watch out for. It is said that it has earned rich by screening at the Cannes International Film Festival. The news is doing the rounds that the worldwide rights of Kites has been sold for Rs.150 crore.
Kites, directed by Anurag Basu, also features glamorous actress Kangana Ranaut in the lead role.
