Hrithik Roshan as Jesus Christ?

We saw actor James Caviezel as Jesus Christ in Mel Gibson's film The Passion Of The Christ. Now, after four years since the release of the film, the Western filmmakers are said to be looking at Hrithik Roshan as James Caviezel's successor.

The news is doing the rounds that several Latin American film distributors were stunned by Hrithik's resemblance to Jesus Christ in the film Kites, which was screened at the Cannes Film Festival recently. Some film distributors were heard saying that Hrithik would be the ideal actor to play Jesus Christ in a western film. His body language and intensity in his eyes have attracted the attention of many filmmakers.

However, Rakesh Roshan, the maker of Kites said that he didn't hear the comments on Hrithik's resemblance with Jesus though many appreciated the trailer of his film and said that Hrithik would suit western market. It is also said that Hrithik has hooked up with an internationally renowned casting agency.
