Another person who seems very impressed with the perfectionist Khan is Jiah's mother, Rabia (Amin) Khan, former actress (Locket, Ankush etc.) turned scriptwriter, presently based in London. The sophisticated lady, who interacted with Aamir a lot on the sets of Ghajini, wants him to play an athlete in a romantic thriller and has plans of drafting the script with two other scriptwriters. The film may be produced by an international banner.
However, Rabia understands that Aamir is not only a very busy actor but he is highly choosy and meticulous and she knows that it will be difficult to convince him to do her project. Well, all we can do is ask Rabia to pen a strong script and we know that Aamir will not say no. While on Aamir and Rabia, the lady denies all rumours of a link up with his father Tahir Hussain, terming them as baseless and false.
A section of the media was full of rumours about Jiah Khan being miffed with the makers and also the lead actor of Ghajini, Aamir Khan, for being kept away from the promotional campaigns of the film. Some went on to add that Asin, the romantic lead opposite Aamir, had grabbed more headlines than Jiah. But that turned out to be baseless as Jiah is simply ecstatic with the blockbuster success of the film, as her almost dormant Bollywood career has now seen a new lease of life, for which she is grateful to Aamir.
