Shiney Ahuja detained in a rape case

Bollywood actor Shiney Ahuja has been detained by the Oshiwara police station in Mumbai on charges of raping his domestic help. The 18-year-old who had been employed by Ahuja for the last one-and-a-half months filed an FIR with the Oshiwara police station alleging the Bollywood actor of raping her between between 3 pm and 5 pm on Saturday while his wife was away.

Additional Commissioner of police Amitabh Gupta said that the victim approached the police at around 7 pm. He added that the girl was traumatised after the incident and went to her relatives' house who later approached the police. The girl has been sent for medical examination and the reports are expected to come soon. An officer investigating the case added that further action will be taken on basis of the medical reports.

The 36 year old actor who made is debut with Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi has acted in critically acclaimed movies like Life In A Metro and Gangster. Shiney is however known to be very temperamental on the sets and has been involved in many controversies. He is currently shooting for the movie Accident and Har Pall.
