Imran Khan at loggerheads with Ranbir

Everybody knows that chocolate boys Ranbir Kapoor and Imran Khan were buddies not long ago. They used to exchange pleasantries and even hosted a Filmfare Awards function together, but if we go by the latest news, the story has changed. It is said that they are at loggerheads and not on talking terms.

It all started following Imran"s fiancee Avantika Malik"s bad remark at Ranbir in a theatre. It was reported that she was very critical of the recently released film Raajneeti. And it didn"t go down too well with Ranbir. “He is now maintaining a distance from both Imran and Avantika," Times of India quoted a source as saying.

Adding fuel to the fire, Ranbir refused to attend Aamir Khan"s party for Peepli Live music composer Gustavo Santaolalla, which was organised at Imran"s residence though they stay in the same vicinity.

It is reported the rivalry started as both of them are trying to make it big in films. ““But that too stems from the friction that started after Avantika"s caustic comments at Ranbir. Yeh dono toh pehle se competitors rahe hain. But it was healthy competition. After what Avantika said, there is hostility," added the source.
