Katrina says no Thank You to Anees Bazmee

The Kumar-Kaif duo has sizzled on the screen quite a few times in films like Humko Deewana Kar Gaye, Namastey London, Welcome, Singh Is King and De Dhana Dhan and are known to be one of the most enviable couples on screen. Their chemistry on screen is worth watching and has created hits every time. But recently Katrina had to turn down a film with Akshay.

The film Thank You was offered to Katrina by Anees Bazmee, but the lovely lass turned down the offer politely as she is already working with Akshay Kumar in Tees Maar Khan and could not manage two Akshay flicks together. Tees Maar Khan will be directed by Farah Khan and apparently the Akshay-Farah duo is the reason for the fall out between Shahrukh Khan and Farah. The shoot for Thank You is currently going on in Canada and Anees is still hopeful of casting Katrina in his film. He sends a representative to meet Katrina almost every day in order to somehow work out the dates and at least make a guest appearance in the film.

Thank You will also star Sonam Kapoor opposite Bobby Deol. Anees has mentioned that casting Sonam was not for the sake of personal relationships with the Kapoors but keeping in mind her fresh face and her raw talent. The search for a leading lady for Akshay still continues. Anees might just convince Katrina to do a cameo. Whether she will be seen with Akki in this flick is something to wait and watch!
