Priyanka Chopra's swayamvar mishap

At a local fashion pageant in New York, where Priyanka Chopra is shooting for her film Anjaana Anjaani, the actress was invited to crown the winner. According to sources, Priyanka got into the mood of her forthcoming film with Vishal Bhardwaj, where her character has seven husbands. She thought she should play a swayamvar game with some of the male participants.

Priyanka asked three boys to come up on stage. They were told to propose to her in different ways. She danced with them all but of course, didn"t accept any of the proposals. She couldn"t have been more apt as the chief guest of an Indian themed fashion show where she herself looked ravishing in a pink saree.

The organizers realized that a lot of time had been spent on the swayamvar and that they had reached their time limit. They shut off the lights and sound. Priyanka had to come up and crown the winner in the dark before leaving.
