Salman, Vivek at IIFA Awards for charity

Salman Khan and Vivek Oberoi are known for charity work, independent of each other. Now, Vivek's Project Hope is likely to clash with Salman's Ambassador of Change. We give you a heads-up on what to expect...

WHAT HE'S UP TO: Will be part of IIFA's charity initiative.
WHERE: At the IIFA awards in Sri Lanka this weekend.
WHAT TO EXPECT: As a symbol of solidarity with the Sri Lankan people, IIFA in partnership with Habitat for Humanity will adopt and rebuild a village in for refugees, with the proceeds of the cricket match being donated to this cause. Habitat for Humanity is an organisation initiated by US President Jimmy Carter.
WHY HE'S DOING IT: Has been announced as the ambassador of change for the awards

WHO: Vivek Oberoi
WHAT HE'S UP TO: VO has decided to re start his Project Hope in strife-torn north Sri Lanka and help in the reconstruction of a village there.
WHERE: At the IIFA awards in Sri Lanka this weekend.
WHAT TO EXPECT: Vivek is expected to make a formal announcement at the event. Says a source close to Vivek, "VO makes an early arrival (on June 1) to scout villages where he will build schools to rehabilitate Tamil children in war torn regions. Based on the Project Devi format, the schools will focus on healing the children and securing their future."
WHY HE'S DOING IT: "Vivek wants the children not to grow with hate and anger in their hearts. Vivek feels everybody needs to do their own bit in helping get the children a healthier and brighter future," reveals the source.
