Ever
since
he
unintentionally
gave
away
his
hotel
and
location
in
Edinburgh
on
Twitter,
Shahid
Kapoor
seems
to
the
toast
of
the
Scottish
press
and
public.
Edinburgh
seems
to
have
taken
a
shine
to
Shahid.
This
is
the
first
Indian
film
unit
in
Edinburgh
since
Karan
Johar
shot
a
song
for
Kuch
Kuch
Hota
Hai
in
the
country.
And
the
local
population
can"t
seem
to
contain
its
excitement.
According
to
a
member
of
the
Mausam
unit,
Scotland
seems
more
Bollywood-struck
than
rural
Punjab.
A
little
bit
too
much
attention
is
being
showered
on
Shahid
Kapoor.
And
he"s
not
quite
happy
with
it.
Says
a
friend
of
the
actor,
“Ever
since
Shahid
mentioned
on
Twitter
that
his
hotel
in
Ediburgh
is
opposite
an
Indian
restaurant,
Indians
from
all
over
Scotland
have
been
swamping
his
hotel
and
location."
In
spite
of
the
heavy
security
bandobast
in
the
shopping
market
where
director
Pankaj
Kapoor
shot
in
Edinburgh
for
the
first
few
days,
fans,
both
Indian
and
Caucasian,
have
been
thronging
the
location
creating
a
security
hazard.
On
Monday,
in
spite
of
repeated
requests
from
father
Pankaj
and
son
Shahid
Kapoor
not
to
click
pictures
to
preserve
the
freshness
of
his
look
for
Mausam,
someone
from
the
crowd
took
pictures
of
Shahid
in
his
airforce
pilot"s
garb
and
leaked
it
all
over
the
internet.
Apparently
both
Pankaj
and
Shahid
Kapoor
are
very
unhappy
about
the
way
Shahid"s
look
has
been
clicked
and
circulated.
“We"d
have
expected
the
fans
to
be
more
sensitive
to
Shahid"s
requests," says
a
source.
“It
was
just
a
random
fan
who
clicked
the
pictures.
I
guess
these
things
can"t
be
helped."
Bad
news
for
the
Scottish
junta,
though.
Director
Pankaj
Kapoor
has
now
decided
to
keep
visitors
off
location.
Adds
the
source,
“With
unseasonal
weather
on
one
end
and
paparazzi
pictures
of
Shahid
on
the
other,
Pankaj
Kapoor
is
really
not
in
a
good
mood."
