Shahid says Priyanka is 'just a friend'

If girls go gaga over him, then it is not their fault. His cool looks, his finesse at acting and his effortless moves, is the reason why girls couldn't take their eyes off him. Whatever be it! Shahid Kapoor managed it very genuinely when asked about the women of his life.

The actor was seen in interacting with ZoOm on the celebration of the channels 6th anniversary. When asked about Priyanka Chopra the hunk frankly accepted, “Me and Priyanka! We're really good friends. She's a very good actor and I think so far what she's achieved is fantastic. She's a thorough professional. We've shared a great working equation and we're also neighbours."

Oh! is that the reason why these two are seen together almost all the time? Well, we will put a hush! to that question, after all it is possible that they can be 'friends only!!!'

When asked about his other link-ups, Shahid very bluntly answered, “ I think sometimes the alleged link-ups are really funny. I don't get linked with the actresses, who are really good friends. I go over to Genelia's home once every month, and we're very good friends, and nobody has linked us. And on the other hand, I've been linked-up with the actress with whom I share only a working relationship."

The actor accepted that the reason behind him being so cool is the fact that his parents tell him that he has been a good son, “ I love my parents a lot, and I've a huge amount of respect for them. Also, whatever I've achieved is through a lot of hard work. I've gone for auditions, and even got rejected, but I've never taken my father's name and said that main Pankaj Kapur ka beta hoon. (I am Pankaj Kapur's son)."
