According
to
reliable
sources,
politician
Shashi
Tharoor
may
well
be
getting
engaged
to
the
woman
he
loves
-
Sunanda
Pushkar
-
at
Sanjay
Khan's
luxury
hotel
Golden
Palms
Resort
and
Spa
Bangalore
on
June
27
this
year.
Says
a
source,
"Sunanda
has
been
discussing
her
engagement
plans
with
close
friends
in
Mumbai
and
Dubai.
She's
thrilled
and
wants
to
share
the
good
news
with
friends
and
family."
Apparently,
Sanjay
is
popular
within
Congress
circles.
He
frequently
visits
Delhi
and
during
one
such
visit
met
Shashi
at
a
party.
They
became
friendly
and
Khan's
wife
Zarine
invited
Shashi
and
Sunanda
to
stay
at
the
Golden
Palms.
The
source
adds
that
the
couple
took
up
the
invite
and
spent
the
weekend
at
the
hotel
with
friends
during
the
first
week
of
April
--
a
week
before
his
resignation.
"In
fact,
the
two
loved
their
stay
there
so
much
that
they
decided
to
have
their
engagement
at
the
resort.
The
ceremony
will
take
place
in
June
and
the
marriage
within
the
next
six
months.
It's
all
hush-hush
until
the
details
are
finalised."
Khan
claims
to
be
ignorant
about
the
bookings
made
at
his
hotel
for
the
event.
"I
am
not
in
Delhi
and
go
to
Bangalore
only
for
a
day
or
so.
I
haven't
been
to
the
city
in
the
last
15
days.
I
will
have
to
check
with
my
staff
if
the
resort
has
a
booking
listed
for
Shashi
for
such
an
event
on
June
27.
But
even
if
it's
true,
I
can't
reveal
confidential
information
to
outsiders."
He
adds,
"But
of
course,
I'd
love
it
if
Shashi
had
his
engagement
ceremony
here
at
the
Golden
Resorts.
He's
a
fine
gentleman
and
a
great
person
known
to
me
on
a
personal
level."
But
what
about
Shashi-Sunanda's
previous
stay
at
his
hotel?
"They
haven't
stayed
at
my
resort," claims
Sanjay.
Shashi
Tharoor
remained
unavailable
for
comment
despite
attempts
made
to
contact
him
via
email,
SMS
and
over
the
phone.
Sunanda
Pushkar
didn't
reply
to
an
email
we
sent
her
either.
FACT

Roshan
wed
Sanjay's
daughter
