Angaar to be remade for papa's boy Abhishek Bachchan?

Abhishek Bachchan might be seen in the remake of Shashilal Nair"s 1992 film Angaar, which starred Nana Patekar, Jackie Shroff and Dimple Kapadia in lead role.

The rumour doing the rounds in tinselville is that Amitabh Bachchan's AB Corp is planning to get the remake rights of Shashilal Nair"s action drama Angaar, which was based on the underworld. Though Angaar bombed at the box office, the performance of the lead stars were highly appreciated.

As Abhishek Bachchan's performance in films like Sarkar and Sarkar Raj won him many accolades, Abhi's family banner thinks that this film, which is also on the same lines will do wonders to his career. The film will be an intense action packed drama. If sources are to be believed, everything is a hush-hush matter for now and no concrete steps have been taken so far.

If this is true, wonder if this is a step taken on the part of papa dear to save the sinking career of his son!
