Aishwarya Rai Bachchan to star in Madhur Bhandarkar's next

Madhur Bhandarkar's dream to work with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is finally coming true. The director has roped in the actress for his next film.

According to reports, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Katrina Kaif were in the race for the leading role in the film. Madhur Bhandarkar approached both the actresses and narrated the story even though he was keen to cast the former. Now, it has been revealed that the director has convinced Aishwarya to act in the movie.

It may be recalled that Kareena Kapoor was offered before for the female lead role. But she opted out of the project, as she was uncomfortable doing love making scenes. Meanwhile, the director is said to be reworking on the script to suit Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.

However, Madhur Bhandarkar has something different to say. He has said that he has not approached Aishwarya Rai Bachchan or Katrina Kaif. He adds that nothing is finalized yet and he is on a break.
