Amitabh-Aamir heading for a clash

It looks like clash between Bollywood superstars Amitabh Bachchan and Aamir Khan is inevitable. Aamir's ambitious home production Delhi Belly is scheduled for release on July 1. Surprisingly, Amitabh too has announced that his film Bbuddah - Hoga Terra Baap would be released on the same date.

“It now seems probable that Bbuddah, even though started its shot after the shoot for Aarakshan was over, has finished before. And .. now is set to be released before Aarakshan too. Bbuddah on July 1st, Aarakshan on August 12th, my Mother"s birthday ! Two films after a long gap and two very different roles and films," wrote Amitabh on his blog.

Bbuddah is a romantic comedy directed by Poori Jagannath and features Amitabh Bachchan, Raveena Tandon, Hema Malini, Minissha Lamba and Sonal Chauhan. Delhi Belly too is a romantic film directed by Abhinay Deo. It features Imran Khan, Vir Das, Poorna Jagannathan, Kunal Roy Kapoor and Shenaz Treasurywala.

Well, it looks like the clash is inevitable, but we hope the makers of the films will find out a means to avoid the clash, as eating into each other's revenue won't benefit anybody!
