AR Rahman ropes in MJ's lead guitarist for Rockstar

Ranbir Kapoor's next movie Rockstar, which is scheduled to release on November 11, is getting hotter as its release date nears. The latest buzz about the film is that Oscar winning composer AR Rahman has roped in Orianthi Panagaris, who was the lead guitarist in the team of late king of pop Michael Jackson. According to reports, Orianthi will perform for the song 'Saadda haq' in Imtiaz Ali's forthcoming film.

According to sources, AR Rahman and Imtiaz Ali had short-listed many Indian and international musicians and Orianthi's name was on the top of their list. The duo were impressed by her incredible body of work and her huge international success. Sources also claim that Rahman had even met Orianthi, who agreed to be a part of the film after listening to the track.

It is reported during his meeting, AR Rahman had also introduced Orianthi Panagaris to director Imtiaz Ali through Skype. Meanwhile, the director had briefed her about the story of film Rockstar and the song's relevance. Orianthi had played some tunes, which were liked and accepted by them.
