Is anything cooking between Deepika and Neil Nitin?

Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone and actor Neil Nitin Mukesh have always maintained that they are each others 4-am-friends ever since they worked together in Lafangey Parindey. Although Deepika and Neil were discreet about their friendship earlier, the grapevine is abuzz that there may be more to it than what meets the eye.

Once, Neil had said, "She is one of the sweetest people I know. She is almost family, my 4 am friend whom I can talk to about anything and everything. Her smile is so contagious. I am very fond of her." When asked about Neil's open declaration, Deepika had quipped, "What's stopping him?"

Despite being discreet about their friendship, Deepika Padukone and actor Neil Nitin Mukesh have been exchanging tweets. Recently, Neil tweeted, "I stood outside Deepika's door yesterday with a red rose for three hours. Then I realised that she had gone for the promotions of Aarakshan." Deepika replied, "Jhoot."

Is something is cooking between Deepika and Neil? "There's no denying that they both are very good friends. But it's too early to say if anything is cooking between the two. They definitely turn to each other in times of need," the Times of India reports a source as telling.
