Deepika Padukone revives her old love

Actress Deepika Padukone is best known for two things, just recently for her acting skills and before that for her badminton skills. The actress who ditched her sports career for modelling and acting recently revived her passion for the old love.

Deepika who got a chance to represent her state at the National finals was apparently shooting for her upcoming film, which will mark as the debut of director David Dhawan's son Rohit Dhawan. During the shoot she decided to form her own girl gang who could play badminton with her. The intention was to keep fit when there were no exercising equipments around.

When the shooting of the film was in full swing in London, Akshay Kumar and John Abraham with all other co-stars decided to play cricket, which anyways is not a preferred sport for girls. None of the girls on the sets were interested in playing cricket and therefore just kept themselves limited to only cheering the playing boys.

Deepika therefore decided to start a small rebellion (looks like the actress has taken her last film Aarakshan quiet seriously) on the set. She ordered for badminton equipments and joined hand with girls for playing the game. Gradually everyone on the film set got interested in playing badminton. The actress being a National level player, reportedly, beat down Khiladi Akshay and stud Abraham in all the badminton games.
