Genelia-John land up in marriage controversy

This piece of news will shock many, as rumours are doing the rounds that Genelia D'Souza would tie the knot with Riteish Deshmukh very soon. Believe it or not, Genelia is married to John Abraham, who is officially single after parting ways with his long-time girlfriend Bipasha Basu.

Well, the marriage was meant for a scene in Nishikant Kamat's Force but Pandit Bhagwat Guruji apparently read out the actual wedding mantras, forgetting that it was for a wedding scene of the film. And on learning that Genelia is planning to marry Reteish soon, the priest went to the producer"s office to lodge a complaint, insisting that the actress can"t marry again as she is already married to John.

Pandit Bhagwat argued that he was asked to perform the rituals by director Nishikant Kamat. “John and Genelia are husband and wife. I need to make them understand that I have pronounced the mantras one does at a real wedding. Everything from wearing a mangalsutra, to exchanging garlands and taking the saat pheras has been done," Times of India quotes the priest as saying.

Producer Vipul Amrutlal Shah is now puzzled by the strange situation. “The pandit is now mad at us for getting him involved in this scene. He's treating it like a real wedding, but I want to make him understand that that's not the case. In my entire career, I've never experienced anything of this sort!"

Now, we are not sure who Genelia will marry, John or Reteish!
