Katrina Kaif to star opposite ex-beau Salman Khan

Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif are back again as a pair, in Kabir Khan's next directorial venture. All the speculation about the leading lady opposite Salman in the film has come to rest as the film has officially landed on the lap of B-Town's barbie doll.

Mumbai Mirror reports that all the objections that Salman Khan had regarding his ex-beau actress Katrina Kaif, has been solved. A source confirms, “Katrina and Salman are still very good friends. There is no animosity now."

Earlier, actresses Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra were also being considered for the role, but Katrina won the race as she shares a very good rapport with Kabir. Reportedly, the role suited the actress a lot. Looks like Katrina has taken the toll this year. Apart from Salman Khan, Katrina will also be seen starring opposite Shahrukh Khan in a film which will be directed by Yash Chopra himself.
