Preity in the shoes of pregnant Aishwarya?

The news of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's pregnancy has created confusion among the makers of her forthcoming films, and one of those is Rajkumar Santoshi's film, Ladies and Gentlemen, which has Abhishek Bachchan in the lead role. Now, we hear that Preity Zinta would step into Aishwarya's shoes.

The grapevine is abuzz with the news that top actresses like Katrina Kaif and Deepika Padukone have been considered for the female lead role. But sources said that Abhishek's good friend Preity has been approached to play the role supposed to be played by Aishwarya.

Rajkumar Santoshi refused to reveal on Aishwarya's replacement but confirmed that the actress would
not be in the film, as the role no longer suits her. She added that parenthood is more important than anything for the couple at the moment.
