Ranbir Kapoor demanding salary hike after Rockstar success?

Ranbir Kapoor's Rockstar might not be a great success, but it definitely fetched immense acclaims and applauds for the actor's outstanding performance in the film. Possibly taking this seriously, Ranbir had now decided to give a tough takkar to the Bollywood Khans by demanding for a salary hike upto Rs 15 crore per film.

At present the three Khans charge about 27 crore a film in addition to sharing profits. So Shah Rukh Khan is billed as the co-producer for Don 2. Closer to him in age and stature Hrithik Roshan also charges just under 20 crore.

Ranbir's sudden demand for payment hike has made many raise their eyebrows in the industry. In fact, it is very rare to see an actor demanding unexpectedly excess amount per film at such an initial stage of his career.
