Ranbir to be music channel brand ambassador?

Ranbir Kapoor, who is slowly becoming a youth icon, thanks to his Rockstar avatar, is apparently being offered approximately 8-10 crores per annum as two rival music channels fight to have Ranbir as their brand ambassador.

Ranbir Kapoor's song 'Sada Haq' in Rockstar has become a virtual anthem among the youth. Taking advantage of that, two music channels that targets an audience in the range of 15-30 years have reportedly approached Ranbir Kapoor to be the face of their channel.

If sources are to be believed, Ranbir Kapoor, who has been offered the deal on a contract basis is still contemplating and is a little hesitant to restrain himself to one brand. Ranbir Kapoor also has many films up his sleeves and is therefore unsure if he could dedicate enough time to the music channel.

Rockstar, directed by Imtiaz Ali stars Ranbir Kapoor and Nargis Fakhri in the lead and is scheduled to release in November 2011.
