Salman Khan still influences Katrina Kaif's career decision?

Though Katrina Kaif has broken up with Salman Khan long time back, grapevine has it that Salman Khan still holds a very important role in Katrina's career decision.

Katrina Kaif recently declined Ayan Mukerji's offer to act in his film opposite Ranbir Kapoor. The reasons cited for the refusal was date problems and pending projects.

However, as per sources, Katrina's ex boyfriend Salman Khan, with whom she is doing Ek Tha Tiger did not want her to work with Ranbir Kapoor.

Salman Khan and Ranbir Kapoor's nasty fight at a night club is well known in the industry. That was quickly sorted out after Salman reportedly gifted Ranbir a painting of his grandfather Raj Kapoor. However, Ranbir's proximity with Katrina put an end to all of that.

As for Katrina and Salman, though the two are not dating each other, it is common knowledge that the two are still very fond of each other. Katrina Kaif also has high regard for Salman as he has always looked out for her in the industry.

Speaking to the Times of India, Katrina Kaif's friend said, “Katrina is not doing Ayaan's film. But that's certainly not due to Salman Khan."
