Actor
Vivek
Oberoi
speaks
about
the
most
challenging
film
role
in
his
Bollywood
career.
He
feels
that
a
particular
scene
from
his
superhit
movie
Saathiya
will
always
be
special
for
him.
“The
toughest
scene
for
me
as
an
actor
in
my
career
up
to
this
point
was
undoubtedly
the
scene
from
Mani
Ratnam's
Saathiya,
where
I'm
waiting
outside
the
ICU
in
the
hospital
for
my
wife,
Suhani,
essayed
by
Rani
Mukherjee," Vivek
told
to
Mumbai
Mirror.
Vivek
recalls
the
scene
where
he
had
to
face
Shahrukh
Khan.
Vivek
claimed
that
he,
being
a
newcomer
at
that
time
and
also
a
SRK
fan,
it
was
quite
difficult
for
him
to
confront
the
Bollywood
Baadshah.
“Even
though
the
content
of
my
character's
dialogues
were
angry
threats,
the
scene
was
an
expression
of
pain,
anguish
and
the
fear
of
losing
the
love
of
his
life
forever!
So
while
the
anger
and
the
threat
had
to
look
convincing,
standing
in
front
of
an
icon
and
stalwart
such
as
Shah
Rukh,
the
emotion
of
a
scared
boy
had
to
come
from
a
place
of
deep
honesty,"
he
said.
But
a
confident
Oberoi
said
that
he
always
try
to
keep
aside
also
his
personal
perspectives
and
ideals
when
in
front
of
the
camera.
“Once
I
transform
into
the
character,
no
one
and
nothing
else
exists,"
Vivek
added.
