Vidya Balan to join hands with John Abraham again

Actress Vidya Balan has earlier starred alongside actor John Abraham in the movie Salaam-E-Ishq in 2007. The Malayali girl is now all set to team up with him again. According to reports, director Sanjay Gupta is trying to bring Vidya and John together for his upcoming movie Shootout at Wadala.

Director Priyadarshan had attempted to bring Vidya Balan and John Abraham together in 2010 for a comic caper and he even said to have had a couple of meetings with the actress for the same. But his efforts went in vein after John refused this and several other films with Vidya on Bipasha's insistence.

However, John is now single and he does not have to worry about working with any actress. He has already signed up for Sanjay Gupta's Shootout in Wadala. Sources claim that Vidya Balan is the first and last choice of Sanjay for the female lead and he is very keen on roping in her. Sources add that he will soon convince her and try to get her on board.

However, Shootout at Wadala is produced by Shobha Kapoor, Ekta Kapoor and Sanjay Gupta. The movie is a prequel to Shootout at Lokhandwala and S Hussain Zaidihas has written the script based upon the real-life gun battle between gangsters and Mumbai Police. Anil Kapoor is playing a pivotal role in it.
