Vidya Balan stays in lotus pond for hours

Actress Vidya Balan must have been informed at the time of signing The Dirty Picture that she has to show more skin than usual for the role of Silk Smitha but not on staying in water for hours. Sources said that Vidya stayed in a lotus pond for two hours while shooting for one of the scenes in the film.

It happened at Ramoji Rao Film City in Hyderabad, where the shooting of The Dirty Picture is currently in progress. Vidya was required to shoot a particular scene in a pond. However, she got tired of stepping in and out of the pond for the sequence. So, she suggested she remain in the water till the shooting of the sequel was done. Surprisingly, the actress had already stayed for two hours in the lotus pond for two hours by the time the director wrapped up the sequence.

Well, it wouldn"t be easy to stay wet for two hours but Vidya did it. No wonder filmmakers want to have a piece of her!
