Aamir Khan was the first choice for Barfee
Director Anurag Basu's upcoming movie Barfee, which is one among the most awaited movies of year 2012, features Ranbir Kapoor. If we are to go by the sources, Mr Perfectionist Aamir Khan was the first choice, but the Bollywood actor said no to the acclaimed director's project.

It is reported that Anurag Basu had initially approached Aamir Khan for the movie Barfee. But the actor reportedly could not accept his offer due to some unavoidable reasons. Then the director opted for Ranbir Kapoor, who has also bagged Anurag Kashyap’s Bombay Velvet.

Barfee revolves around a deaf man (Ranbir Kapoor), who unites with a mentally challenged woman (Priyanka Chopra) to solve the mystery surrounding the murder of his wife (Ileana D'Cruz). However, Ranbir Kapoor is very much excited about the role of a deaf man in the film, which is slated to release on 13th July.
