Aishwarya Rai Bachchan to make a comeback with Karan Johar's film

Karan Johar wants to remake director Hrishikesh Mukherjee's 1982 film Bemisal which was a classic. The film had Amitabh Bachchan, Rakhi and Vinod Mehra. Bemisal was a story of loyalty, sacrifice and revenge. Now for the remake, Karan Johar wants to cast Aishwarya Rai Bachchan for the role of Rakhi.

A source told a leading daily, "Karan Johar wants to remake Bemisal. We're not sure whether or not he will direct the movie himself, but he has been thinking about remaking it at some point. Karan has been thinking about casting Aishwarya Rai Bachchan to play Rakhi's character from the original. In fact, he is in talks with Aishwarya."

The source further added, "She has been away from films for a while (she last acted in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Guzaarish, 2010), and we haven't heard of a conformation yet from her end. But if all goes well, we will hopefully see her return to the big screen with this."

Well, we are desperately waiting for Aishwarya's comeback.
