Aishwarya Rai Bachchan finally making her comeback with Mani Ratnam's film?

It looks like there is a good news for all the fans of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan out there. After a long hiatus, Aishwarya is likely to make her big comeback, courtesy filmmaker Mani Ratnam.

We all know that Ash and Ratnam have gone a long way since her debut movie Iruvar. She had also worked with him in the movies like Guru and Raavan, along with hubby Abhishek Bachchan. According to a leading daily, the latest news is that Mani Ratnam had offered a comeback role to Ash and the latter had possibly given a nod to it.

The film is Ratnam's adaptation of Daphne Du Maurier's famous 1938 novel 'Rebecca'. Sources informed the daily that the novel 'Rebecca' revolves around the story of a newly married woman who is constantly compared to the first wife of her husband by the housekeeper. Rumours say that Ash might play the lead role in the movie.

Well, we have so far heard a lot of rumours regarding Aishwarya Rai's comeback movies. But nothing has been confirmed yet. We hope Ratnam's 'Rebecca' turns out to be a great news for us.
