Katrina Kaif suggested Salman Khan's name for Ek Tha Tiger?

While most of us are of the opinion that Salman Khan was director Kabir Khan's first choice for the lead male role in Yash Raj Films Ek Tha Tiger, Zoom reported that it was Katrina Kaif who recommended Salman Khan to the director.

Ever since news about Yash Raj Films deciding to make the movie Ek Tha Tiger was known, the audience were of the impression that director Kabir Khan and Yash Raj Films approached Salman Khan to play the male lead role. In fact, it is believed that Salman Khan was the one who suggested Katrina Kaif's name to Kabir Khan for the female lead role in the film. It therefore comes as a surprise when Zoom TV reported that it was Katrina who recommended Salman's name for the lead role in Ek Tha Tiger.

Hmmm...interesting! Katrina, Salman....will you please clarify?
