Rajesh Khanna never abused Dimple Kapadia

Rajesh Khanna and Dimple Kapadia were the first superstar couple of the country. Rajesh Khanna married Dimple in March 1973. Everyone in the film industry knew that they had a troubled marriage. Things got bitter between them and the couple started living separately. However, even after their separation Rajesh Khanna never abused or cursed Dimple.

It is said that it was Dimple Kapadia's decision to leave Rajesh Khanna. Rajesh Khanna took his marriage for granted as he used to spend most of his time on the sets of his films. So, Dimple decided to work in films again, but Rajesh Khanna was not happy with her decision, which ultimately led to their separation. However, both of them decided not to get divorced cause they thought their divorce will affect their daughters.

Rajesh Khanna's close friends say that Rajesh Khanna never tried to call Dimple back. But at the same time, he never spoke ill about Dimple and never abused or cursed her. Reportedly, in his later stages of life, he even apologised to Dimple.
