Revealed: Jab Tak Hai Jaan's Challa is copied from an English song!

Oscar winner AR Rahman is known for his wonderful and original music composition in the world. But it seems that this time the composer decided to take some inspiration from the west. Shahrukh Khan's Jab Tak Hai Jaan's song 'Challa' has an uncanny similarity with 'Save tonight' from the album Desireless, by Eagle Eye Cherry.

'Save Tonight' is hit song released in 1997. The alternative rock number is Swedish musician Eagle-Eye Cherry's most popular song and is still loved by many. When you listen to this song, you will realise that the music is quite similar to 'Challa' song, specially the opening guitar piece.

Though Rabbi's voice in 'Challa' song gives it a fresh feel. But honestly, we did not expect this from a world class musician like AR Rahman!

Jab Tak Hai Jaan is directed by Yash Chopra and it also stars Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma in the lead role. Jab Tak Hai Jaan will release on 13th November.
