Dutt, who is in the Yerawada Jail from past two months,
recently sent a letter to director Rohit Shetty. In the letter, Sanjay
has thanked Rohit for saying yes to his home production movie.
One of the highest paid directors of Bollywood, Rohit Shetty has
agreed to direct a film for Sanjay Dutt Productions. When Manyata
Dutt told Sanjay about this, he specially wrote a letter to Rohit.
Talking about Rohit, a source told a leading daily, "Sanju had
worked with Rohit in All The Best, and they bonded almost
immediately. Manyata has been trying to rope in big directors for
their banner. She approached Rohit who immediately said yes. When
Sanju heard about his confirmation, he wrote him a long emotional
letter thanking him for supporting him in his time of
Recently, the Supreme Court rejected Sanjay Dutt's curative
petition. Sanjay, who surrendered on May 16 2013, will serve a
three and a half years jail term (out of his five-year sentence).
He will be released from the prison around November 2016.
