Actor
Shahid
Kapoor
has
always
reportedly,
dreamed
to
work
with
filmmaker,
Karan
Johar.
But,
unfortunately
Kapoor
has
repeatedly
lost
quite
a
few
golden
opportunities
to
chase
his
dream
project
with
the
Dharma
Productions.
A
while
ago,
the
actor
had
to
walk
out
of
Maneesh
Sharma's
film
(A
KJo
movie),
after
he
suffered
a
slip
disc.
And
the
latest
news
is,
Shahid
who
was
actually
the
first
choice
for
Dharma's
Gori
Tere
Pyaar
Mein,
had
apparently
rejected
the
project.
According
to
the
sources,
Punit
Malhotra
had
offered
the
film
Gori
Tere
Pyaar
Mein,
first
to
Shahid
Kapoor.
However,
Kapoor
rejected
it,
and
then,
Imran
Khan
was
signed
for
the
film.
The
reason
behind
Kapoor's
rejection
was
quite
obvious,
as
Gori
Tere
Pyaar
Mein
featured
Shahid's
ex-girlfriend
Kareena
Kapoor
as
the
female
lead.
Shahid
had
last
worked
with
Kareena
in
the
film
Jab
We
Met,
after
which
they
had
reportedly
parted
ways.
On
the
other
hand,
Imran
Khan
had
worked
with
Kareena
in
the
movie
Ek
Main
Aur
Ekk
Tu,
and
the
duo
share
a
great
rapport
and
a
comfort
zone
working
with
each
other
since
then.
