A
photographer
who
was
on
his
assignment
with
a
leading
newspaper
got
thrashed
by
the
security
guards
and
bouncers
of
the
Bombay
Velvet
crew.
The
lensman
is
in
the
hospital.
The
alleged
incident
happened
at
Dadar
Parsi
colony
last
evening
in
the
sets
of
Anurag
Kashyap's
Bombay
Velvet,
which
stars
Ranbir
Kapoor
and
Anushka
Sharma.
According
to
sources,
the
lensman
took
pictures
without
the
consent
of
the
crew.
Apparently,
Ranbir
Kapoor
sports
a
new
look
in
the
film
Bombay
Velvet
and
when
the
cameraman
tried
to
capture
the
pictures,
he
was
man-handled.
When
contacted
the
lensman
said,
"I
am
in
the
hospital
undergoing
a
medical
check
up.
Please
ask
the
police
officials
about
the
case."
Meanwhile,
Raghvendra
Madanlal
Thakur,
senior
police
inspector
from
Matunga
police
station,
said,
"We
have
recorded
the
statements,
but
are
still
deciding
upon
the
sections
to
be
charged.
Interrogations
are
still
ongoing.
Anurag
Kashyap,
who
is
the
director
of
the
film
said,
"It's
a
lie.
The
photographer
slapped
the
production
person.
He
was
taken
to
police
station
and
he
pulled
out
a
dalit
card
and
counter
accused.
Ranbir
was
not
even
there
when
the
incident
happened."
When
it
comes
to
security
and
secrets
for
a
new
film
or
a
new
look,
the
crew
goes
to
any
length.
This
is
one
of
such
incidents!
