Photographer Manhandled At Ranbir Kapoor's Bombay Velvet Set

A photographer who was on his assignment with a leading newspaper got thrashed by the security guards and bouncers of the Bombay Velvet crew. The lensman is in the hospital. The alleged incident happened at Dadar Parsi colony last evening in the sets of Anurag Kashyap's Bombay Velvet, which stars Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma.

According to sources, the lensman took pictures without the consent of the crew. Apparently, Ranbir Kapoor sports a new look in the film Bombay Velvet and when the cameraman tried to capture the pictures, he was man-handled.

When contacted the lensman said, "I am in the hospital undergoing a medical check up. Please ask the police officials about the case."

Meanwhile, Raghvendra Madanlal Thakur, senior police inspector from Matunga police station, said, "We have recorded the statements, but are still deciding upon the sections to be charged. Interrogations are still ongoing.

Anurag Kashyap, who is the director of the film said, "It's a lie. The photographer slapped the production person. He was taken to police station and he pulled out a dalit card and counter accused. Ranbir was not even there when the incident happened."

When it comes to security and secrets for a new film or a new look, the crew goes to any length. This is one of such incidents!
