Anushka Sharma Is My Mentor, Says Ranveer Singh - Does Deepika Padukone Have A Say?

Ranveer Singh, who is riding high with the success of his latest film Ram Leela attributes a lot of what he learnt in the initial phase of his career to Anushka Sharma, his alleged ex-girlfriend and his Band Baaja Baaraat co-star.
Amidst many buzz and rumours about the torrid affair between Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh was frank and bold enough to accept that it was Anushka Sharma, his one time girlfriend and co-star of the super hit film Band Baaja Baaraat who taught him about the medium of acting since that was his debut film.

Speaking to an English daily, Ranveer Singh poured out his heart. He said, "The two biggest influences have to be Anushka and Sanjay Leela Bhansali. She taught me so many things about the medium and acting. I was fortunate to have her as my co-star. She was one of the biggest influences. Anushka taught me a lot since I was only a beginner. She taught me everything that a novice needs to know before giving his first shot."

Now, we also get to hear that Ranveer and Anushka will next be seen in Zoya Akhtar's upcoming flick. The film will also star Priyanka Chopra and Farhan Akhtar.

Well, interesting! Kudos to Ranveer for being so honest and bold. However, we wonder what his rumoured girlfriend Deepika Padukone have to say about his 'honest' opinion!
