The
news
of
Chitrangada
and
her
golfer
husband
Jyoti
Randhwa
splits
can
be
confirmed
now
that
they
have
been
granted
divorce
on
November
11,
2013.
Despite
the
couple
denying
all
facts
about
their
troubled
marriage.
Earlier
in
May
2013
reports
came
up
regarding
their
filing
of
divorce
case
at
a
family
court
in
Gurgaon.
The
couple
resorted
to
get
divorced
on
mutual
consent
after
going
through
quite
a
rough
patch
in
their
relationship.
The
court
had
given
time
to
resolve
their
issues
and
reconsider
the
decision.
November
11,
2013
was
the
scheduled
date
given
to
them
for
their
next
hearing.
Zorawar
is
their
son's
name.
The
duo
got
married
in
the
year
2001.
Rumours
are
that
they
started
getting
trouble
in
the
relationship
only
after
Chitraganda
entered
Bollywood.
However,
Chitrangada's
spokesperson
had
refuted
the
reports
then
and
said
the
actor's
frequent
trips
to
the
family
court
were
to
do
with
'an
internal
settlement
of
a
property
issue'.
However,
the
couple
had
actually
filed
a
divorce
and
the
court
granted
it
on
November
11.
Zorawar's
custody
was
given
to
Chitrangada.
Her
counsel
Osama
Suhail
said,
"I
can
neither
deny
nor
confirm
the
divorce.
It
is
a
matter
of
public
record."
Chitrangada
rose
to
fame
after
her
stellar
performance
in
Hazaaron
Khwaishen
Aisi
which
was
directed
by
Sudhir
Mishra
in
2003.
She
took
a
break
of
three
years
at
the
behest
of
her
husband
which
she
strongly
denied.
She
made
her
comeback
in
Onir's
Sorry
Bhai
which
also
starred
Sanjay
Suri.
