Did Kareena Kapoor Lie About Bejoy Nambiar's Film Offer?

While, some times back it was heard that actress Kareena Kapoor has been offered a role in Bejoy Nambiar's next film, now the news reportedly comes out to be a wrong one.

It has been reported that the movie in which Bejoy has planned to cast Amitabh bachchan and Farhan Akhtar, Kareena was never approached for it.

Some times back, it was reported that Kareena Kapoor has almost been finalised for the leading lay role in the movie. Moreover, Kareena Kapoor also reportedly confirmed the news saying she liked the script but she will make the final call after being done with the shooting of Singham 2.

But now, a leading publication claimed that Bejoy till date has not approached any actress for the film including Kareena.
Well, if Bejoy did not approach Kareena then why did she claim to have liked the script?
