Does Kangana Ranaut Get Greedy? Raises Her Fee

I appreciate myself for not being greedy and dishonest"- These are Kangana Ranaut's words. But now, it looks like having acted in a recent super hit flick Kangana Ranaut has changed her stand on being non-greedy and honest?

Reports are such that Kangna, high on Queen's success, is asking for Rs 3.5-4 crore for a new film directed by Kahani fame Sujoy Ghosh. A source said, "Kangana understood that her popularity is rising and she is becoming a hot favorite of directors. If filmmakers and advertisers can cash in on her popularity, why can't she?"

A director who doesn't want to reveal his name said, " Now, she is one of the top leading ladies in Bollywood. Is it fair on her part to hike her fee to an everest peek? I don't think so!"

It is the same Kangana who complained that woman actors are not getting the same fee male actors get in the industry. She, recently said in an interview,"Forget the credit, they (male actors) take all the money as well. We don't get paid even one-third of what male actors get.I think our generation has the responsibility to bring women of the industry to a position where they not only get respect but in every way they should be respected and their graph should be respected." One has to think a lot to decide whether this is just being right or greedy!

It is also said that Vidya Balan was Sujoy Ghosh's first choice for this film but when Vidya walked out, Kangana was his next choice. The film which will feature Kangana as its protagonist is presently titled as Durga Rani Singh.
