Is Ranbir Kapoor Afraid To Take Chance With Aamir?

It's hard to take risks when one has to compete with Mr. Perfectionist of Bollywood. Although, Ranbir Kapoor's upcoming movie Bombay Velvet was scheduled to release on this Christmas but it seems the movie's release will be postponed owing to Aamir Khan's PK also releasing on the same date.

Ranbir's Bombay Velvet, directed by Anurag Kashyap reportedly declared its release date even before the making of the film and thus, it was quite obvious for the director to get upset when he learns that Rajkumar Hirani has also fixed the release of his upcoming movie PK starring Aamir Khan on the same day.

Now Anurag and Fox Star Studios in order to avoid a box office clash have reportedly decided to shift the release date of Bombay Velvet to some future date. However, there is no confirmation about the change in release date from the makers of Bombay Velvet yet.

Aamir Khan starring PK will be a satire about God and godmen and will have Anushka Sharma and Sushant Singh Rajput among others. While, Ranbir Kapoor's Bombay Velvet is a neo noir drama which reflects on the process of Mumbai turning into a metropolis amidst love, greed and violence. Bombay Velvet also stars Anushka Sharma, Raveena Tandon, Naseeruddin Shah and others.
