Rumours are rife that Hrithik Roshan and director Vishal Bhardwaj are teaming up to do the Bollywood remake of The Departed. Looks like Hrithik will reprise the role of Hollywood Leonardo di Caprio in the movie.

A leading daily quoted, "Vishal and Hrithik have been trying to get together for a film since quite some time now."

"In 2009, it was announced that Hrithik would be doing Vishal's film and even Aishwarya Rai's name was in contention for it. However, after that in 2010 there was news doing the rounds that Hrithik would step in the shoes of Leonardo Di Caprio for the official remake of The Departed, which Vishal was to direct. However, now all things have fallen in place and Vishal will indeed do the film. Everything about the film has been kept under wraps."

While there are no official statement on this news, sources insist that Hrithik has signed the project and preparing for it. The Departed directed by Martin Scorsese was also a copy of Hong Kong film Infernal Affairs.
